Each apartments consists of either 2 or 3 bedrooms, with a connecting staff sleeping room.
Each unit has been designed so they can be easily adapted and tailored to your individual needs.
The entire building is fitted with managed WIFI access. This is provided for a small additional monthly charge. There are no caps or limits to how much data you can use so you can stream as much content from online as you like.
Kirkfield Mews is fitted with and operate advanced High Definition CCTV recording systems strategically mounted around the building designed to not invade your privacy or infringe on your enjoyment. SLE Housing operate a strict CCTV policy which is available upon request.
Kirkfield Mews is accessed via a personalised key card system making it easy and simple to manage if your card is ever lost or stolen. We keep you safe by blocking the card instantly once it has been reported to our team saving valuable time and avoiding the expense and trouble of having to change a standard lock system.
Kirkfield Mews contains easy to use platform or passenger lifts so no apartment or area within the building is inaccessible to our residents and their visitors. All lifts have easy to open glazed doors to the each level so you can see exactly what floor you are going past when you use them. Plus you won't have the feeling of being "enclosed" like in a standard lift as you can see where you are at all times.
The Bathrooms are design to have a homely feel but still provide a functional performance for your safety. Each and every Bathroom is fitted with anti slip level access showers with integrated grab rails in the form of shower slider rails and split barn door style shower screens. Large rain plate shower heads are also provide into each and every shower for added luxury. An assisted Bath can also fitted with ease as all of the power, water and drainage connections are present.
All appliances have been placed at an ideal accessible height no matter what your disability. Furthermore there are no legs to the feature granite dining table making it ideal for wheel chair users and the like. We are also rolling out a programme of replacing all hobs with induction hobs for safety and energy efficiency. Induction cooking is more efficient than traditional methods with up to a 70% reduction in energy consumption. This is because 90% of the energy produced channelled into the pan itself. That means that food cooks faster using less power. Induction hobs are safer, as there is no flame or element to ignite fumes or cause burns. Induction compatible pans are required for use.
This is the front entrance to your apartment. There is driveway space for two cars so there is no need for your friends and visitors to park on the road. There is also runway lighting all around the perimeter of the property so you can see where you are going at night.

Your lounge will be shared and will be open plan with your kitchen and dining area. Your lounge will be equipped with a comfy “L” shaped sofa and a selection of dining chairs.
You will have a large secure landscaped garden overlooking the property which will be used by you, the person you are sharing with and one other apartment.
